Mixed feelings over yesterday’s attempted Trixie…
Aranui Lass was a painful watch, in-form Masa had her drop way out the back and she flew home with a wet sail for third at $2 the place, any kind of decent position in the run would have seen her win, but of course we don’t know how she was in the run, and Masa would have given her every chance. Next time for sure, but hopefully she settles closer in the run…
Rockabilly Rebel was scratched at the gate for the second time in a week, she’s obviously got some issues, and she sweated up prior to the start yesterday. If she can got over it, she’s a winner in waiting…
And our little pocket-rocket The Inevitable screamed home in his usual fashion to get up by the smallest of margins. He’s a tiny little thing, but he’s all heart, getting up at a lean $1.60, but, hey, it’s better than the bank!!

First Dance was noted breaking maidens in only her third run this T&D in October, and with Wazza sticking today, she can take the next step, $3.20 fav, will be hard to beat…
Aquilifer has been close up all four runs this prep without threatening to win, but she’s capable at her best and should be including in exotics, $4.80 third fav.
BET: FD 10 unit win, A 4 units ew, exotics with FD to win.
