Resumes from a five month break, and was noted in March when she looked like a good thing beaten at Hawera when she got way too far back, reared on the turn and flew home for third. We fancied her to make amends at Ellerslie a month later but she ran seventh before heading to the paddock. Bruno jumps on today as she switches stables and drops to the mile, first run in the South Island and fancied to make a strong return in a small but very competitive betting field at $3.80.

Resumed from a six month break a month back, had won first-up and dropped hugely in grade for her return and had won in higher grades. Dropped to the mile but needed the run, then came out two weeks ago at Wagga to run an improver’s fourth under her fav jockey, who is 6:3-0-0 onboard. The extra distance looks like it’ll suit, and she looks a great EW prospect at $8.50.

Been going OK before failing here in late July. Resumes after that short break, dropping back to the 1400m, has won this T&D, but more importantly gets fav jockey CJP onboard (3:1-1-0), so we’re definitely not ruling him out of this, $9 in a small field…
