A third in Valieva yesterday (5 units ew, $2.50), just needing the run as we thought might be the case, next-timer for sure.
Miss Intention went round at big odds, finishing late for fourth, we’re also keeping an eye on her…

He’s been in the book for a while after producing some good runs mid-year last year before heading for the paddock. Thought he might need the resuming run a month ago and so it proved. Went again 10 days later up in class but reverts to the BM58 today, fav jockey jumps back on and he jumps out to the 1856m here. Ready to fire and looks another EW shot as long as he handles the softer going, $7.50 on offer in an open betting race.

Pakenham, 8
Resumed 22 days ago from a 4 month spell, had runs in a G1 and a G3 prior to her break. Her maiden win in October was superb, streeting them by nine lengths, then a close second in BM70 before the two G races. Ran fifth resuming, will be fitter today and moves back up to mile where she goes best and Micky Dee (3:1-1) hops back onboard. Looks a sound EW shot at $6.50 in this for sure…
