Back in the winners’ circle!

That’s better, a couple of nice winners yesterday to break our brief drought…

I Am Velvet resumed back from G3 level, and she’s a filly going places based on this win at $2.10. Took control at the final bend and ridden out fairly comfortably, more to come as she’ll take a lot from this run. Changing Colours ran on for third paying $1.60, she too will go better next time out…

State of America was up in grade and Lloyd rated him well with a superbly timed finish to nick it right on the line in a three way go, paying $4 the win.

Girl was back to a more suitable assignment, and finished well for second paying $3.30 the place.

Resuming after a 207 day spell when he won over hurdles for us at big odds thanks to the fav Berry The Cash getting brought down half way round. Bit too short for him really, this probably a tune-up run, he’ll go better over the sticks… $23 says it all…

Resuming from a 6 month break, but form prior was excellent with 4 wins from 6, though, again, this is a bit short for him, small field.

Finally added her second win last month with a well-timed run, defying a betting drift, now she knows where the winning posts is she’s capable of going on with it, $3.20 second fav.

Yet another resuming, this one after 243 days. Close up in his runs last prep, even when tenth of fourteen. Might need the run, jockey has won up top before, EW chance if he’s ready, $7 on offer.
