Four winners including a star performer…
OK, four winners, a second, four thirds and a fourth from the book yesterday, a 42% dividend return and almost 17% a winning return…
Star of the show was obviously Via Sistina (10 unit win, $1.60), with a beautifully rated run by JMac, truly a superstar horse!
We kicked off the day with a great win from Fashionista (10 unit win), getting up at a nice $4.80 at Te Rapa.
Belclare (6 units win) followed her surprise win in the Invitation two weeks ago with a $3.40 win at Rosehill.
Hell (10 unit win) extended his winning streak to four with a dominant win in the last at Doomben at $1.80.
Places for Midnight In Tokyo, Sunchyme, Berkeley Square, Antino, Without A Fight and Artful Tawny.

Idyllic returns from a six month break, very good stats, previous form was very consistent and she’s trialled up with two wins so she looks ready to roll. Drawn well and can give them something to chase down, only doubt is her one poor run on heavy, but that hasn’t stopped her being fav here at $2.70.
Gee String resumed a month ago with an ordinary seventh, has since trialled up for a second, could find a place here at $21.

An astonishing finish this T&D 15 days ago produced a win at $8.20. We had written her off at the final bend when seemingly out of it in last place, but he produced an withering burst of speed, winning by over two lengths! Up in grade but gotta follow him, $4 fav in a tight betting race.

Better in his last two starts under this jockey, capable of a big finish and drops in grade and distance, so will need to be closer in the run, $13 on offer, runs in this in preference to race 5 here.
