Huge from the back on debut July last year, has had a couple of spells since and wasn’t far off earlier last year. Resumed a month ago after a trial second, dropped out to the rear, needing the run, but flew home for third at $2.70. She was marked down as next-time and while she finished well into a close fourth, she’s obviously begging for longer and gets it here today. Out to the 1430m and she’ll be coming home with a wet sail. $4.20 second fav, she can beat this odds-on fav.

Very dominant when winning on debut in Sept last year but has had a couple of breaks in between times and resumed last month but he barely emerged from the rear. Not a lot better 23 days ago but will be fitter and gets McGruddy up top, who rode  him to his debut win. $10 on offer, can improve if he’s ridden a little more forward.

Another perennial backmarker who’s done little this prep, but has been spruiked up a bit prior to her last couple of runs. Another who’ll benefit from a more prominent ride under fav jockey Watson, and worth considering at $11.
