Highlight was Teewaters (2 units ew), an eye-watering third at $8.30, plus seconds for Desert Icon (3 units ew, $2.30), Eaglelou (3 units ew, $2.10), and Far Too Easy (3 units ew, $1.90). Couple of fourths in Kusuda and Clemenceau…

We’ve had a next-time sticker on MTW since she was spruiked up in early April. She’s obliged with a third at $11 and a second at $26 for us since, and I see no reason to jump off now. $7 fav in a very open betting event. We’re waiting patiently for LO to front up, two fourths recently give her a place chance in this, and maybe spice up the exotics at $11…

Won well for us here two back, then ran last on the poly which obviously didn’t suit. May need some give in the ground as $5 second fav.

Another one back to his best distance and should be fitter for this. Chance at $5 in a small field.

Won for us three back, then ran in the Redelva at Morphettville at $151 before a tidy sixth at the same track. Returns to country racing and will be up for this, $3.20 co-fav.

His stats do not suggest he will be winning this one, so it’s an interest bet only.

We tipped him to take advantage of the extra distance at Mornington 12 days ago and he duly reeled them in over the last 100m. Same deal today, he’s a $4/$1.90 fav here, and backable EW at that price.
