Go the Goose!!

Returns were unusually few and far between yesterday, with one winner but what a ride it was! She was well-backed into $3.30 but The Grey Goose jumped out last at Wingatui and was 6 lengths off, She started to make up ground as they neared the last bend and unleashed a devastating run to win by a length.

Places for Royal Wings who earlier nearly matched that performance, flying home for second at a juicy $7.30, don’t forget she’d won on resuming for us in December at $61… Wheels also finished fast for third at $1.50 and Miss Miduki filled the same slot at $2.00. Fourths for Learning To Fly, Fetch and Just As Sharp.

She bombed the start in her last run in September over this T&D but flew home for a very nice win. Back after 156 days, she’s 2:2 here and placed two from three first-up. Berry hops on, $2.70 fav, and if she’s anything like, she’ll win this…

He’s won here first up previously, while that was only one of two wins in his career he resumes here after 232 days away. Pretty open race, he gets back in the run so watch for him late, $6.50 on offer.

Ran a couple of nice seconds for us back end of last prep and resumes after 124 days, with a nice first-up record (3:1-1). Back to his favoured mile (6:1-3) and looks value at $15…
