Some redemption for us yesterday, with two winners, two seconds, six thirds and a fourth from our 23 picks, almost 50% return dividend rate…
We fancied Shamus (5 units ew) to bounce back to form, and despite a betting drift, he got up in a blanket finish at a very nice $7.40/$2.20.
Baraqiel (10 unit win) was looking for four straight, and Ms Gaudray sat him just behind the pace before launching off the final bend and finishing strongly to get up at $4.40, definitely one to watch!
Places for Double Take ($3.10), Let Fly ($2.80), Scamster ($5.00), Sachem ($1.75), Mrs Chrissie ($1.50), Luna Cat ($2.60), He’s Our Bonneval ($2.10), and Foxy Femme ($1.75), with Lord Spencer running fourth.

Couple of good runs at the start of the campaign but hasn’t followed those up, so strange she’s vaulted up to BM70 here and sits at $8.50, especially as she’s untested on heavy. Capable of a decent finish but this looks a touch tough for her…

He’s 8:3-2 on the track and 11:6-0 over the distance, and drops back from Listed company 22 days ago. Jockey is 2:2, only knock is his form on heavy, unplaced from two, but if he gets to the front he’ll be hard to catch, $5.50 second fav in an open betting race.
