We were out of the traps early, with Miss Ziggy making a mess of them in the opener at Riccy at $2.60, followed by a storming win by Waitak in the Howden Mile, paying $8.50, with Ndola rounding out the winners at Mville at $3.

Hadn’t been far off in his runs this prep until outclassed in a BM82 last month at Taree, running last. Dropped to a BM58 with an encouraging run and we marked him as a next-timer and he ran a decent second at Tuncurry. Back in grade again and rates a decent EW bet at $12.
