The Magnificent Seven!
A Magnificent Seven winners yesterday, plus two seconds, three thirds and two fourths from our thirty tips, a dividend return rate of 47%, and a win-rate of almost 24%!
Hard to know where to start, but Belclare’s bold win in The Invitation is as good as any, the former Kiwi taking charge mid-race to score a superb win for as at a Hall of Fame price of $27.70/$5.50, nice return for our 3 units ew.
Kattegat (6 unit win) got us off to the best start, with a dominant win in the first at Ellerslie, paying $4.20.
Alabama Lass (10 unit win) is a filly going places, and won with a leg in the air at $1.30.
Over to the Valley and Baraqiel (5 units ew) gave ‘em a smacking under Benny Allen, posting a big win at $3.90/$1.60.
It was Plenty of Ammo’s turn in the next race (5 units ew), winning at $4.40/$1.90.
Then it was over to Doomben, where Merchant Flyer (5 units ew) continued his rise through the grades, winning at $9.10/$2.20.
And finally, an astonishing finish by Spirit of Pluto (3 units ew) produced a win at $8.20/$2.60, when we had written her off at the final bend when seemingly out of it in last place, then winning by over two lengths!
Places for Habana, Sassman, Raziah, Broadsiding, Democracy Manifest, Eloheh and Handshake completed a very nice day on the punt for our members!!
Ten on a busy Sunday, if Trentham goes ahead, with some worthy tips at good odds…

She’s back in grade from her last outing at G3 over 5 months ago, and has good first-up stats (6:2-2). Two trials recently will have her ready, though the 1000m a touch on the short side for her as she gets back a bit… It’ll be wet underfoot, but she’s been flying at home, so a chance if the meeting goes ahead, EW at $7.50.

He’s another class-dropper returning from a similar break but without the first-up credentials. Has trialled though, and again, a bit on the short side, but he’s honest and can find the frame here, $11 on offer.

Ex-Singapore, needed the run resuming at Caulfield 15 days ago and is 4:1-1 second-up, so chance based on that. Won 1:1 at the distance, EW at $6.50 in an open betting event.

Belting through the grades and looking for five in a row. Hard to knock winning form, loses Jimmy Orman but picks up Ryan Maloney, a race in two, he’s $2.50 second fav, 4:4 here…

Massively impressive 2312 days ago here in only his second race, came from dead last to win by nearly four lengths when odds-on. Warmed up for his return with a trial 12 days ago, $8 in a very open betting race, must go in.
