Dillinger noted when spruiked and backed in Jan 23, running fourth, duly obliged 2 weeks later then headed to the paddock for 205 days. Resumed with an ordinary seventh in Aug last year, then put away again until earlier this month at Kyneton where he clearly needed the run but did make some late headway and was less than two lengths from the winner. Has talent, and that will have done him the power of good, back in grade and the stretch out to 1400m today looks ideal. Think he wins.
SK resumes, tends to put his best form together in bursts and likely to need this run, $23 shot…

Went in the book when effortlessly breaking maidens here in October, then quickly went on to G3 and G1 races before heading to the paddock. Resumed in March with much expectation but has been a touch ordinary, racing well but not finishing them off. Came back to the 1400m 14 days ago here and ran an improved second, setting her up nicely to get her second win today as $2.25 fav.
