Five winners!
Five winners and a couple of placings from yesterday, giving us a 15.6% winning strike rate.
Gospodin (5 units ew) strode up imperiously to win at $3.80/$1.60, you’d have got $4.80 if you got on early…
Testify Me (5 units ew) defied the heavy ground to get up easily at $3.90/$1.80, and Cindy Falls ran a juicy $5 third to spice up the exotics, including a $1305 trifecta.
Daytona Bay (2 units ew) was the day’s big winner at $14.20/$2.40, defying our best bet Altivo on the line and providing some nice number in the exotics, and a nice start on the way to an $11K qadi.
Pinstriped (10 unit win) continued his resurgence to form with a two length win at $2.80, while Frumos raced just off the pace to surge away for a nice win at $3.80.

Does get back in the run, so will need every inch of this distance. Meech onboard is a positive, could be a factor late on if he’s ridden more positively, $17 shot…

Won as he liked as expected at the Bool three weeks ago, and we blackbooked this former Irish gelding for more wins this winter. $2.80 fav, and picking his natural progression will see him home here…

Generally thereabouts without winning, but gets to his fav T&D. Bayliss onboard is a plus, and he’s an EW prospect at $11.

Another one who’s generally around the mark, resumes from a 5 month spell, and while he’s not a noted first-up performer, and may need this run, he’s a squeak at a place at $14.

Won this week last year, but done precious little since. Interest bet at $51.

Resumed four weeks ago after 7 months away after he’d won two in a row. Trialled since, and Ben Thompson sticks. Noted backmarker, and his distance and going stats have him in this as a $12 shot, watch for him late

Looked to be labouring two weeks ago here until they took the brakes off and he cruised home in some style. You’ll get $4.20/$2.05 if you’re quick, which makes him an easy EW hit.

Took a while to break his maiden, looks like he’ll wait a bit longer for his second win… $16 shot.

We waited patiently for Ha She to break her maiden and she obliged at Echuca two back before fading badly over the same T&D next time out. We’ll forgive that one and put her in for an EW shot at $12. SK provided an unexpected place as a $41 shot last time out. Frontrunner who might have turned the corner, but interest bet only today at $23.

Muswellbrook, 2
Up in grade and distance, and has a potential good finish in him, $11 on offer here.

Rarely far away, and her sole win did come on heavy. Trialled up well before resuming at the Sapphire Coast 2 weeks back noted finishing fast from the back, so maybe a chance in this small field…
