Another for the Hall of Fame!

Getafix (5 units ew) got the ball rolling early with a superb win ($5.00/$1.70), then Far Too Easy (4 units ew) obliged in the Kosciuszko at $4.40/$1.80, and finally Tikemyson (4 units ew) boomed home in the last at Otaki at a very nice $12.20/$3.40, making it into our Hall of Fame.

BB is on the 8 day back-up after a nice resuming run here for third, where he has decent track stats (9:2-5). Placed 3 from 5 second-up, frontrunner dropping back to 1200m, if he powers up from the carpark draw he’ll be hard to catch, $4.40 on offer, easy EW bet.

Infernape was spruiked up in March when bolting home for third in a twelve horse field, and marked as next-timer. Up to 1400m three weeks later, she repeated the dose from dead last of fourteen to run third. Stepping up to the mile was the key, and she duly bolted home from last for a superb win. Resumes now from a 6 month lay-off and we rate her a live chance here, even at $16.

Forget and forgive the last run, also 8 days ago here, she’s very dangerous in the grade (6:2-3) as proven when she when at Riccy when resuming in August. $5.50 second fav, easy EW bet at that price.

Resuming after 239 days, has his moments but had been going round without threatening for some time. Has won first up but suspect he’ll need this, $19 on offer.

Went in the book a year ago on debut at Ipswich, when she got trapped in that race and looked the winner if she got out. Resumed in August with a third then a second 22 days ago at Eagle Farm, definite chance to break maidens today out to the 1200m.

Badda Boom Baby

Her very intermittent career looked back on track here last month with a very encouraging third, but then got a bit too far back here 16 days ago, running on for sixth only 1.2 lengths off the winner. Up to the 1400m suits, EW value at $14.

Dominant winner at big odds for us in January before up in grade as a $101 shot at Doomben and running ninth, though not that far away. Back to the BM66 on resuming 19 days ago and never emerged from the pack, so we’ll forgive that one as she drops back to the BM58, in with a shot as $6 second fav.

Back from metro racing where he’d been a touch ordinary apart from a nice win three back. Like the addition of L Meech here, so we think he’s capable of making the frame here at $9, watch for him late…

This is the easiest he’s contested for some time, last time he was in a BM66 in April, he won for us at $61! Don’t discard just yet, worth an EW punt at $26…

Came from last on resuming in August to run second at big odds, suggesting the extra 200m would suit next up, and she duly obliged at a juicy $11 for us to break maidens. Then ran seventh before a close third at Moruya 16 days ago, and she’ll be a threat in this at $12.
