Noted last September when he ran seventh on debut by nearly nine lengths, but we were watching… He was backed in late to around the $15 mark, last all the way and belted home, earning a next-time flag, and when he resumed after a 203 day spell in April, he ran a bold second. We really spruiked him up next time out at Woodville, and he sat just off the pace before skating away to win as he liked, paying $20.30/$4.40. Up to the BM65 51 days ago at Otaki and we were very keen, but he got back early and stayed there, maybe the heavy didn’t suit, though his debut run was on heavy… Resumes today and is a $5.50 chance in a tight betting event, worth another go…

Solid T&Ds, goes on any surface and has placed this grade but mixes his runs somewhat. Jockey is 4:2-1 up top which rates him a chance in this at $19.
