Two winners…
Three scratchings yesterday, two of them high on our list, left us with just 19 from the book, yielding two winners, two seconds and four fourths…
Major Share (5 units ew) was one of three we had in the Caulfield Handicap, and he fought out a thrilling finish with Marble Mine (3 units ew) just getting the upper hand at a very nice $6.60/ $2.00, with MS paying $2.00 the place also.
Second also for Zeefa Zed, who screamed home for the closest second I’ve seen for some time, getting baulked at the 800m mark surely costing him the win.
Fourths for Shameless Boy, Shamus, Frumos and Sachem, giving us a 42% in returning dividends.
Six for Sunday, including The Glasshouse Handicap from last week’s abandoned Sunny Coast meeting…

A belated running of The Glasshouse, postponed from last Saturday when the meeting was abandoned after the fourth race.
Our little Tassie pocket-rocket in The Inevitable looks hard to beat here, zooming home for a close fourth in the Straddy four weeks ago after meeting some trouble, though this fav will have some support and rightly so. Loves the distance, $6.00 makes him an easy EW bet. Our other two have claims at $12 and $16 in what looks a cracking race, very open…
