Cork is a touch inconsistent but very good on her day, and she presents as $3.50 fav here. Drawn well and can win this. Ess Vee Are tends to get back in the run, did nothing on resuming 16 days ago but ALV sticks and the extra 350m should suit, $9.50 in this small field.

Currently favourite at $2.80, looks a race in two with Bonny Lass who he just edged out 36 days ago in the Tarzino.

Tends to race in the country, and sneaked out a second, albeit by 10 lengths, at Enngonia three weeks ago, but did nothing at Dubbo last week but should be fitter now. Jockey is 1:1 onboard, down in grade and his best would take him close in this, $8.50 on offer…

Resumed from a 133 day break, rarely far away, but he never emerged from the pack. Will be better for that, he’s 4:2-0 second-up and gets fav jockey JPH up top (8:3-3). $10 in an open race and worth an EW tilt.

Night Fighter

Had been knocking on the door early this prep before a flat eighth at Moree last month but followed that up with a big finish from dead last to run a close fifth at Muswellbrook 17 days ago. Van Overmeire stuck for the race at Scone 16 days ago, and despite the slight raise in grade, and he didn’t let us down with a beautifully rated ride to get up right on the line at $7.50/$2.25. Up in grade, $6.50, watch for him late again…

Former Kiwi going round at big odds in her last prep but was edging closer before heading to the paddock, and returned 23 days after five months away, where she never featured at all. Will be fitter for that and could feature late, $21 shot.

Was running in decent company last year but seems to have slid down the rankings a bit, but gets Wiggins up top today, which elevates him to a decent EW chance as $3.90 second fav.

Last two runs either side of a 6 month break were not encouraging, neither are her second-up stats, but her T&Ds are very good, outsider’s chance at $34.

Fav looks hard to beat in this and our lad resumes after a 189 day break, first-up form is 6:1-1 and his best performances have come on top of the ground, so EW shot at $11.
