Not a bad day!
Some astonishing wins yesterday, not even from our book, but watching Without A Fight, Fabian Hawk and Think About It win in the fashion that they did was pure pleasure!
As far as we were concerned, Takeiteasy (2 units ew) was the highlight of our day, and as predicted by us, he led them a merry dance and kept on giving to win at $13.80/$4.60. Our other winner was Democracy Manifest (5 units ew), the extra 200m making all the difference as we thought it would, for a nice return at $5.40/$2.20.
Add to that an astonishing seven seconds and fourth thirds, giving us a 48% paying return rate on our 27 tips!

Noted with a shocking ride from the jockey back in Jan after being left far too much to do and flying home for third. Repeat that in Feb when running fourth from dead last, so let;s hope Ms Williams has learned something from that as he gets out to the mile today, giving every indication that he should be winning this as $3.30 fav. Get onboard!

Resumes after 4 month, tremendous stats all round, hard not to see her in the frame at $5.

Noted a year back with a huge run from last to win, then ran two very ordinary races before heading to the paddock in July. Watch the market, if she’s right, and supported, she’s an EW go at $8.50…

On-pacer noted with a nice third in December, and marked down as next-time. Duly obliged at $3.30, then repeated the dose at $16, beating some good horses, then failed on the Riccarton poly. Don’t dismiss him just because he’s at $19, he can win this despite being up in grade and distance.
