Encouraging second from our OHW…
Our one-hit wonder in Graysong (5 units ew) was on the 218 day resumption, thought he might need the run but it was a solid second that bodes well for him next time out.

Last win was here this weekend last year before heading for a 329 day spell. Resumed at Hawera a month ago needing the run but did nothing 21 days ago at Ellerslie. Jockey on both her wins sticks, and the rise to 2200m will suit, watch for her late, $3.40 fav in a tight betting race, but confident she’ll get us off to a great start…

She was prominent for a long way 22 days ago at Wingatui, running second. This is a touch harder, but back in distance and the softer surface could atone for that, EW at $19.

Daresay he needed the resuming run, distant fourth here two weeks ago, needs to improve to figure in this at $12.

The 1400m was a touch short for him resuming a month back but he finished well, as he can, for third. Out to the mile suits, where both his wins have come, and he fronts up here as an $8 fav (don’t see that too often!) showing that it’s a very open race. Kylie sticks, EW all day…

Huge run from the back (as he does) to run second to Sea King in the Bendigo Cup 10 days ago, the rise to 2600m suits, must go into all bets at $6.50.

He improved in his first two runs this prep, the second one not far off Baraqiel at the Valley with a big finish. Back in grade and up in distance 17 days ago, and B Melham onboard got the job done at a very juicy $10/$2.80. Rate him a great EW bet based on that return to form, $11 on offer.

Antino bolted home as is his style to take out the Toorak a month back, Zahra replaces Shinn and he’s 7:3-4 at the mile, easy EW bet at $6.
Got a lot of time for Broadsiding (4:3-0 at the distance) and third to Via Sistina two weeks ago.
Pinstriped hasn’t quite gone on from the G1 win three back but was a tidy third at Caulfield 21 days ago. $34 here…

Gentileschi resumes but trialled up with a win and a second last month, previous form very good, this might be a touch short but is 2:1-1 first-up, back from G1. $4.20 co-fav,.
Sunchyme was scratched 17 days in preference to her run at Hawkesbury 16 days ago, resuming from a 110 day break. Ran a close fifth and will have taken benefit from that. Has a decent finish, watch late, $12 on offer.
