Can’t recall when Super Extreme last saluted, and to be honest the only thing in his favour yesterday was that he was trying the synthetic out for the first time, and what a difference! Opened at $27, backed in to $15.20, and swooped late with a rails run to win easily! Just sorry we missed the $1762 trifecta… Ah well, we’ll take the very nice EW win at those big odds!!
Onto a busy Saturday, we’ve got seven from NZ, though the heavy 10 tracks and persistent rain today may have an effect there, plus 22 from Aussie to come, despite Randwick, Belmont and Casino already abandoned over there…

Has talent though, and a good record here (5:2-2-0) and has won two from five on heavy, so prepared to give him another go, $6.50 second fav. ES also relishes the heavy ground, and this distance, though this is her first go at this track. Tidy enough on her day, and is a decent EW punt in this at $13.
