Dreamstone (10 unit win) was backed in as if unbeatable and while he got out to a big lead, he was hanging on t the end and just got up at $1.70.

Trentham R7
Interesting Telegraph with the scratching of three likely runners in a very tight betting event.
Waitak has placed in his past three at G3 level and has won in this grade. Loves the distance and will be arriving late, $8 on offer.
Idyllic won her first two this prep before a close fourth at Trentham 20 days ago. Honest mare but this is harder, $34 outsider today.

Aquilifer has been consistent this prep, and with the visiting Rory Hutchings up top can step up and win this as $2.80 fav.
Fleming needed the resuming run 14 days ago and could run into a place here, this is his distance, $19 shot.

The two wins from his first two runs were impressive before he headed to a BM70 at Flem. Went for a break before a third and a sixth, both close, and resumed 16 days ago from a 175 day break, swooping late to get up for us at nice odds. Up in grade and distance, but he can handle it, $4.60 second fav.

Small field but plenty in chances…
Philosopher is an out and out frontrunner and can give them something to chase down. Up in grade, $6.00 shot.
Luna Cat resumed 21 days ago with a fast-finishing third, the extra 100m should suit, $4.60 shot.

An improved run three weeks a go for third and drops in grade, another with a decent finish, keep safe at $8.

Adolphus, Great Point
Randwick R3
Adolphus has been massively impressive winning two races in May in dominant fashion, before running a strange race, very stop-start, but looked the winner about 200m out as he hit the front only to fade late in a blanket finish for a second at Wagga in June. Resumed a month ago at Canberra and cruised home under Nick Heywood, who sticks today, up to the mile won’t be an issue, cant’ see him not making the frame, $7 looks value.
Just behind in the betting is Great Point, she showed tremendous acceleration 17 days ago at Scone, and again, the rise to the mile will suit and should make the frame.

Up against a hotpot here but won nicely this T&D two weeks back and drops in grade for this, $4.40 makes him value in this small field.

Very early start at Murray Bridge, where we have two in the first race, so an early freebie.. Not sure we can fill your wallet ahead on the day’s punting, but Russian Dancer showed some fabulous early career form, but hasn’t shown much like it this prep with two last placings, however, he’s the $3.60 second fav here, so maybe some one knows more than we do…
Wheels is in a similar mode, but fitter now, and maybe can fill a place at $15…
