Boomshanka – and again!!
Just the three yesterday, and we kicked some ass!
We recommended a trixie, and what we got was another Rolls Royce performance from Kasinova Kid (10 unit win, $1.80), he’s going places this fella, and a dominant win from Bullet Wing (5 units ew, $7.50/$2.60). Carribean King (5 units ew, $1.80) ran third, a win would have given us a mighty win trixie result but was still worth it, but the place treble was rewarding!
Scratchings have reduced our book to 20 tips today, with all eyes seemingly on a big day at Eagle Farm, where there’s a strong Kiwi presence. Commentary on all tips today, go well!

Her five wins are well back, with the last one almost a year ago. No first-up form to speak of but the heavy track could assist. Small EW wager at $18…

CHANDON BURJ, MISS JENNIFER
Flemington, 3
At $26 and $34, these two would seem to be out of the running for this… CB returns from a four month spell, has placed first-up and hasn’t missed the frame on soft going. 12:4-4 record suggest she’s a chance if she’s ready… MJ resumed two weeks ago after a six month break,and finished well for sixth less than three lengths off the winner. Harry Coffey jumps on, watch for her late… Looks like the fav is way ahead of these, certainly in the betting, so include our two in your exotics with the fav to win.

TEEWATERS
Flemington, 7
Drops in grade here, and is capable of a decent finish, but will need to improve on recent efforts since returning. $51 on offer.

DESERT ICON, SHAMELESS MISS
Rosehill, 6
DI’s three runs back this prep have merit, and he opened with a $31 SP second for us at Hawkesbury. Decent stats at the distance, $9 shot. Stablemate SM’s early career was littered with good performances, but her past four runs over six months haven’t backed that up. Does get out to her fav distance, but would like to see her closer in the run rather than leave it too late. $16 on offer.

Rosehill, 7
Back up to BM78 after his first-up win for us three weeks back. Good distance, going and second-up stats for this, chance at $17…

Cythera has been close up in three of four runs this prep and the drop in grade should suit in an open event. RM won for us four back, and a third two back but will need to up her game in this as a $21 shot.

BELLATRIX BLACK
Eagle Farm, 2
Former Kiwi who performed well over here but who hasn’t really set them alight in Aus. Down in grade for this, and needs to be further forward in the run, but wouldn’t be surprised at a placing here at $10.

Both these drop in grade for Fillies and Mares race, and have shown decent form in their last few runs. Fav looks hard to get past, but these two can fill exotics for you at $8.50 and $12…

Both these lads sport decent formlines (as do others) and at around the $7 mark can figure in this despite stepping up in grade.

Hard to be enthusiastic about his chances in this at $101, but we’d never forgive ourselves if we didn’t have just a small investment on him…

Returns from the paddock after 10 months away, but he did that last race for us at $15, as well as two other since he went in the book a year ago. Has placed first-up, but can only think this is a tune-up over 950m as he’s usually out to 2000m or so. $10 shot…
