Two nice winners…
Two superb winners yesterday from our five tips…
Devine Miss (5 units ew) sprinted away from her rivals for a dominant win at $6.40/$2.40.
We had It’s My Turn (10 unit win) to prevail over the other co-fav but it came down to a battle with one of the outsiders before she got up in a head-bobber at $2.10.
Highground tried to lead all the way on resuming, but his condition gave out in the last 150m as he ran a third, but second up, he’ll be a threat.
Plenty from the book on a huge day of racing, with two in NZ and 13 meetings in Aus, including the big one of the day, the Memsie Stakes, where we have a couple of sleepers…

CDB went in the book 9 days ago with a dominant win here on the poly, runs fav for this at $3.60 in a tough race. Mormaire ran fifth in that race, needs to lift here.

Form has tailed off and goes round as $18 outsider in this.

FREE SPIRIT
Wanganui, 1
Won twice at good odds for us before a close second three weeks back. Has a good finish so the extra distance should suit, $6 on offer in a small field.

CRICKETS CHIRPING, ARDEE BOY

We were dead right about CC a week ago as she won with a leg in the air. Steps up here but can run a cheeky race here, $5 available on 365. AB beat CC in his only race to date, so must be a chance based on that.

Asfoora resumes after 5 months and has a super first-up record and has great T&D stats. Won a sharp trial 10 days ago, looks the winner as $3.10 fav. Group 1 winner MC resumes, hasn’t won for over two years but also won a recent trial. Could be a sleeper at $13.

Both got super stats for this, but this is the Memsie, so a big test for them. At $13 and $31 they are both capable of spicing up the exotics.
