A second and a third from yesterday’s four, closest being Indifference, going round at decent odds but found something close to his best form. He lead for every foot of the race except the last foot, beaten a lip into second, but paying a nice $3.50 the place, next-time tag for him…

Cork produced a huge late surge to win on resuming in June before an ordinary fifth at Rotorua two weeks ago. Decent stats and should be included, EW at $12.
Lord Darci has been tidy last two, also winning on resumption then a close fourth to Royal Valour. Another with tidy stats, EW at $20.

Stunning finish early June ago to break maidens, he was 15 lengths off the lead at the final bend and flew home to win. Tina stuck a month ago, up in grade from his maiden win, and Tina rated him well as he sliced through the field for an easy win despite the betting drift, getting up for us at a delicious $14! With Tina onboard once again the hattrick looms, despite the rise in grade, $7 looks mad!!
