Ran like a rockinghorse when breaking the maidens at Avondale in July, then brought down at Te Rapa in July. Ran a very close seventh at Ellerslie at huge odds three weeks ago, her win came on heavy and over the mile, so not ruling her out of this at all at $16… sleeper.

Noted on debut with a huge finish before winning next up, and is generally thereabouts. Trialled up nicely for his return with the new barn and they had him a $2.40 fav, but he just needed the run, finishing a close fourth. Fitter and up to his fav distance and going, he ran a fast-finishing second a month ago, and though well-beaten by the fav, he had the rest well covered, and we marked him up as a next-timer. Fancied him to win at Nowra 25 days ago, but a bit underwhelming, go the jockey upgrade here 11 days ago and powered home for the win. Backing up quickly, up in grade for the Highway but rates with B Nock up top, $15 looks a steal…
