Top of the list was Raging Rush (5 units ew), with two good runs this prep and a change in riding pattern, we were confident he’d be close, and despite a betting drift, he dominated all the way and hung on for a gritty win at $9.40/$2.70.
Over at the Valley, Philosopher (10 unit win) was backed into favourite and gave ‘em a lesson to make it 4 from 5, paying $2.20.
And we gave you some typical PGT placings, Mister Goldie ($6.60), More Than Words ($4.70), Sweysive ($2.90), Nortibutnice ($1.90) and Ramones ($1.70), and Amati running a close fourth.
