Where do we start? No less than four of our blackbookers in this, so let’s take it from the top…
Waitak back on his fav track and back from a four month spell and has tidy all-round stats, rates an EW chance at $9.50.
Master Fay ran Crocetti to a neck resuming 21 days ago at Ruakaka, that alone has him in this, but his form in spectacular with three wins and a second from five runs and Colgan 2:2 up top. $10, must be included.
Mali Ston resumes after five months, nice course and first-up stats, has to be considered, even at $34.
Gospodin has been going well without winning, outrageously good T&Ds, love sit heavy, $51, chuck him in somewhere!
BET: Depending on the depth of your wallet there’s a case for all of the EW, but maybe box the trifecta along with the top two in betting is the way to go, if they oblige it’ll pay heaps!

NBN another resuming, this time from a six month spell. Early career stats were outstanding, and she’s only missed the top four once in twelve runs, and that was in a G3. Super stats all round, must be considered as $4 second fav. June Bug produced an amazing run back in a grade here a month ago. The talented Denby-Rose Tait took her to the front and it was all over 600m out as she shot away to a ten length lead and cantered over the line, having been massively supported in from $15 to $5.70/$2.10. She sticks, and again, though up in grade, keep here safe in this tight betting event at $5.
