BOOMSHANKA FRIDAY!!
Back to the BOOMSHANKA!! as we tip FIVE WINNERS from our twelve tips yesterday!
Canny Hell (6 unit win) sprinted home to win at $4.90, plus we suggested a 10 unit quinella with the fav which produced a $10.50 return!
Fawkner Park (10 unit win), back from city racing, produced a classy run to stroll home at $1.80, and Regal Lion (2 units ew) who we also recommended for exotics, provided the $9 quinella, $116 trifecta and $498 first four.
Over at Scone, the wait for Gentileschi (10 unit win) to resume paid off as she cleaned ‘em put as $1.90 hop fav, more to come from this girl for sure…
Down in Tassie, Galenus (3 units ew) continued his record improvement, getting home narrowly paying $5.90/$1.90.
And if you had the patience to hang on till the get-out at the Cranbourne night meeting, you’d have cleaned up with Bold Response (6 unit win) surviving a small betting drift to complete the day for us at $6.30/$2.00.
Focus ran third and Rumours Abound ran fourth, that’s an astonishing 66% of our tips paying a dividend, and a 42% winning rate!!

An interesting watch three weeks back, resuming after 805 days away, obviously had issues but showed good form previously, going in the book on his second race clearing maidens in some style. Trialled up a couple of times, the 1300m looked a bit short and he prefers more give in the ground. Obviously needed the run, finishing next to last, but only 3.4 lengths off the winner at Ellerslie. Over a bit longer today and a touch softer ground makes him an EW shot at $8.50.

Been a while since DD won, nine runs without placing since then, will need to improve sharply to feature here over shorter, and as a backmarker, $7.50 on offer. Mali Ston last out the winners’ circle so two years but has run several places since. Same deal, back in distance, back marker, needs to jump out better, EW.

Resumes after a 94 day break, only running one poor one last prep on soft going, so clearly needs top of the ground conditions. Has won first up, generally on pace, and back to 1200m puts him in this at $10.

Persistently in the frame this prep apart from his effort in the G3 last month. EW at $10 also.

We spruiked her up on her return at Kurow in late Dec after a 649 day spell away, getting back early but flying home to win for us at $61! Ran a fifth next, then flew home for second at SP $28 21 days ago at Wingatui. Up to 1800m in the Cup should suit, watch for her late at $10…

Had a few breaks and returned 9 days ago, running fifth needing the run. Lisa jumps on, hops up to the mile, will prefer the firmer footing, and rates better than the $17 on offer, EW in a pretty open event.

Went in the book April last year and has performed consistently since. Resumed 5 weeks back needing the run, then reappeared 16 days ago at Riccy with a very nice third, paying $4.70 the place. Tina jumped back onboard (4:2-1) 13 days ago got her home at Gore for us. Open betting race here, and she can feature agian at $15.
