Boy was massive from the back on resuming at Otaki a month back, flagging up a next-time tag, and the push up to 1400m makes him a real threat in this at $6.
Ditto for OOS, but he got up to win on resuming to break maidens after 14 previous runs without placing and must be included on that even at $21…

Noted with an astonishing win in Feb when last all the way and still won by 4.5 lengths. Resumed two weeks ago after winning a trial and produced a blistering finish on the Sunny Coast two weeks ago to suggest that the rise in grade and distance will not be an issue. Runs here in preference to Flemington and we rate him a huge chance to win this at $7.50.

A touch hit and miss this prep but rarely far away and certainly rates a chance here as $3.70 second fav.

Waller horse resumed two weeks ago needing the run over too short a distance but kept lugging. Previous form excellent, will be fitter and has form second-up, $5.50 on offer.
Sky Lab is resuming from a 6 month lay-off but is 8:3-0-0 first-up but probably looking for further, $46 shot.

Former HK sprinter noted with a superb win on NY Day this year, and we expected he’d push on but didn’t threaten, though wasn’t far away. Resumed from a 105 day spell in May with an eighth but then won a trial and then ran a close eighth. Improved 17 days ago for a close second, gets J Toeroek up top and looks a threat in this as $3.70 fav.
