The two wins either side of NY were nice, moved up to BM75 and not far off at all. Would prefer to see him over longer as he has a good late finish, but EW shot on this at $12.

Habana resumed two weeks ago here with a close fifth, and has good all round stats, and rates a real EW punt up to the mile as a $10 shot.
DD has won one of his two runs here but going round at big odds recently and hasn’t saluted for some time, $41 shot here.

Mornington R2
Matawai is a very consistent mare, up to the mile but back in grade, a very live chance in this at $5.
VS went in the book in Jan last year with a dominant win at MV before two nice placings in Tassie. Resumed 17 days ago after a huge break of 402 days, had trialled three times, winning the last one but faded late. Fitter for that and could be hard to chase down if she jumps well, $18 on offer.

BB was just nudged out in the Roy Higgins three weeks ago, and has made progress throughout. Down in grade and he’ll be finishing over the top of these late on, hard to beat at $2.70 fav.
BC has been pretty consistent this prep including a couple of wins, could lead them a merry dance if he jumps to the front, $9 on offer…

The hotpot fav looks hard to beat in this but our lad has a squeak if he also conserves some energy for the finish. Could be the sleeper in this at $34 and worth an EW punt plus exotics.

Gritty win on debut and added to it next time plus a couple of placings at G1 and G2. Resumed in Feb from a 126 day spell in a G3, making some late headway, and we fancied her to improve five weeks ago at Canberra and she duly obliged with a nice finish from the back, suggesting more to come. Up in grade 18 days ago to the G2 where she made late ground for a close fifth, back to the G3 today and back to the 1400m where she’s 2:1-1. EW for sure at $10.

Getafix is resuming from a 4 month spell, with just the one run last prep for a fast-finishing third here. Gritty win on debut and added to it next time plus a couple of placings at G1 and G2. Has trialled, and will go close if ready, $7.50 in an open betting race.
CA was a nice winner just prior to Christmas with a huge run here, then followed that up same T&D with a close second. Will be dropping in late, $18 looks generous.
