They’re certainly having some weather issues lately over the ditch, with Moruya the latest casualty yesterday, bringing our tips back to just four, and only Bullet Wing managing a second at $2.10, though Zoubaby ran a great race at $34 to run a close sixth, next time and back in grade and she’ll be one to follow…
Eleven from NZ and twenty to come from Aussie means a big day of racing, and great value from PG’s Tips for only 99c per day!!

Just the seven going round in this, and we’ve got three…
Komocean has been nothing but impressive in winning her first two and will be hard to knock off today as $2.00 fav.
Kereti was trapped on the fence 16 days ago but found a gap and weaved through for a super win, Luke Currie comes over from Aus to ride.
HB was tough winning her maiden in October, and has since run two decent efforts at G2 and G3 over further. Back to 1200m today, and down in grade significantly, she can feature at $6.00 but prefers heavy going.

Got up for the win 14 days ago, has been progressing well this prep. This is harder, but rates a decent EW chance at $7.00 in an open betting race.

TMS has been trucking along nicely this prep, finishing fast 23 days ago at Ellerslie for fourth, can back him again EW at $9.00 in another open betting race.

Testify Me, Ess Vee Are, Inmyshadow

TM has nice stats for here but is untried over the 2 miles… Does have a decent finish in him, so this could suit, $6.50 second fav.
Ess Vee Are is a bit hit and miss, he’s trying this distance for only the second time, but again, does finish off well, just needs to be a touch closer in the run in order to feature late here at $19.
IMS will be outclassed in this.
Having said that, this fav will be hard to beat, again Currie comes across with him to take the ride, bear in mind he ran in the Melbourne Cup in November.

She’s in great form having won 2 out of her last 3 races, and though up in grade looks as if she’ll cope with it as $4.40 fav.

Spruiked up like a good ‘un on Boxing Day and won accordingly, cruising up from the back to run away and win by nearly 8 lengths. Up in distance but if he reproduces that form, he’ll be hard to stop, $5.00 co-fav.

Samangu has been massive winning here three start this prep, moving through the grades like a good ‘un, $2.00 fav here, can’t see why she doesn’t win again.
Luna Cat has been solid enough with two thirds this prep and drops back in grade today and will finishing on late, $9.50 on offer.
Girl won well in September, but has found the jump in grade tough and will find the jump again too touch here, $19 shot.

Blue Spinel was in superb form this time last year, hasn’t quite got back to that level of performance up in the grades but drops significantly here and can figure as $5.50 second fav.
CK is consistent without winning over this distance, and rates an EW shot at $7.00.
CC is an interesting one, ex-NZ and she had late support when getting up for us on the Gold Coast a month ago, Mallyon sticks and can’t rule her out now she’s remembered where the winning post is, $11 on offer.

Went for a break before a third and a sixth, both close, and resumed a month ago from a 175 day break, swooping late to get up for us at nice odds. Up in grade and distance two weeks ago at Geelong in a big race, running a close fourth and suited here today as the $4.60 fav with Jonny Allen onboard.
