Five from five…
Trentham abandoned again, pretty disappointing, and also Ballina, which left us with seven from the book over five races, and we got a return from each race.
More Snitzel (3 units ew) was the star, running second at a whopping $7.80, Autumn Storm (4 units ew) looked home and hosed for all money but got nabbed on the line, paying $1.90.
The Impeckable (4 units ew) ran third at $1.60, as did Rumours Abound at $1.90, with Magnetic Prince running fourth.
OK, onto a busy Saturday with racing at Tauranga and Riccarton plus thirteen from over the ditch including a big meeting at Caulfield.

Drops back in grade and distance from 7 days ago, on-pacer better suited and fitter for this, $19 in this and an EW chance for sure.

AL is a filly going places, won her three races this prep, winning the last one at Ellerslie three weeks ago with a leg in the air, Sam’s in form and sticks, hard to beat in this as $2.50 fav.
Raziah has hardly put a foot wrong with a 6:2-3 record. Up in grade for this but a real EW shot at $15.

Buoyant
Riccarton R7
Buoyant’s early career stats were outstanding, but seven runs in Aussie saw him last or close to last but in higher grades but resumed at Wingatui a month back with a tidy fourth. McNab jumps on (1:1), five of his six wins have been on soft plus his T&D stats are off the planet. Will need to be pretty sprightly from the wide draw but he can feature at $7.

Tokyo Tycoon, Millefiori, Amberecho
Riccarton R8
TT’s early form was outstanding but he’s been right off the boil in recent runs, needs to lift, $10.
They let Millefiori go round at Trentham 20 days ago, knowing she wouldn’t go well in the heavy. She gets Aussie jockey Josh Parr up top today, but some concerns with the draw as she doesn’t handle getting bundled up with other horses, so they’ll need to get here out from that 3 draw. $26 on offer and worth an EW.
Amberecho is the same price, ran fifty last week less than a length from the winner, good T&Ds, likes it soft.

Out to the mile a week ago and faded late but steps up to the 2000m here for the first time. Yet to place at this track (4:0-0), Kylie sticks, EW at $12.

JITB shows up occasionally, no form this way round but goes well on heavy, $8 shot.
DT is ex-HK but done little in recent runs but drops in grade here, though has no form on heavy, $9 here. Both could feature late.

Ladies Man, Pearl Of Alsace, Mali Ston, Gospodin
Tauranga R7
Four from the book in one race, including the top three in betting.
LM was narrowly beaten 42 days ago and gets in-form Masa Hashizume onboard, $2.80 fav and a good record in the class, leading hope.
POA is struggling to find her early form but rarely far away and drops in grade for this, always a chance and close second fav here at $2.90.
MS has gone well this prep apart from the Livamol, and loves the mile, will be finishing fast late on, $5 shot.
G was looking to have found some form when resuming in June but has dropped off since then, but does find his favoured heavy footing here, $14 on offer.

D is a nice filly who has gone well in four races and a chance up in grade at $17. Fav Aeliana will be very hard to beat, massively impressive 14 days ago in the Carbine, $3.40 fav here.

FTE won the Kosciuszko in fine style and has to rate in this, $4.40 second fav.
Rustic Steel was a surprise winner 9 days ago at Hawkesbury, he’s trained here and is 5:3-1 on the track, EW shot at $17.
