We’ve got four in this very open G2…
Waitak is fav and hasn’t been far away in four G1s this prep.
Aegon is a long time between salutes but has thrown a couple of decent finishes this prep, $5 second fav.
What You Wish For may provide better value at $9.50, he got up nicely at Matamata a month ago, and if he can settle a bit closer over the shorter run at the mile, he can win this.
Dark Destroyer resumes after a 308 day spell, and while he won a recent trail, suspect he’ll need this to figure at $23…

They’ve changed his race pattern this prep with some success and he now tends to sit up on the pace. Not sure the push out to 2400m will suit, but he’s in the mix as $3.30 second fav in this small field.

Samangu produced a fine on-pace performance to register her fourth win from six runs three weeks back and looks a good bet to win this at $2.80.
DSB went in the book two years ago with a huge win from last on debut in a G3. Stepped immediately up to G1 level, without success, before a break. Was solid in G2-3 and Listed level before another break where she obviously had issues as she has been out for just over a year, and resumes today on the back of a couple of warm-up trials at Pak. Suspect this is a bit short, and she’ll need it, $26 shot…
