Couple of next-timers…
A promising return by King Taurus for fourth gets him a next-time tag, especially if he goes over further.
Sapphires Son was very prominent and looked like he might win at as he surged to the lead on the final bend but he couldn’t see it out.
Layeruponlayer wasn’t fast away either, and will bear some watching next time as well…

Resumes from almost 5 months away, likely to need this one at $19.

BP is very consistent and working towards a win after a second and a third this prep, fav hard to beat but our girl is great value at $9.50.
TS resumed after 80 days, her win in March was notable as she waited for the gap and cruised home for nice win the clear maidens at her second race. Needed the resuming run and this is a jump, maybe a place at $71.

This is his distance (3:1-2) and drops in grade a touch for this, $21 looks generous.

Up in grade but been in good form this prep and moves back up to his fav distance, keep safe at $23.

Very consistent, great stats, Yendall goes on, will be right there at the finish, $5 on offer.

Pops up occasionally but looks out of his depth in this one, $34 shot.

SR resumed 17 days ago and simply ran away from them, a repeat of that would see her win this, even up in grade, wide draw the only concern, $2.90 fav.
DN sports excellent stats and is well in this at $8.
MJ pops up intermittently, EW shot at $23.

Compelling Truth, Appin Girl

CT has a fantastic record (23:11-4), and while he didn’t feature in the Ortensia a month ago he’s back in a grade where can win this, $13 shot.
AG resumed 21 days ago needing the run, will be better for that and is 3:1-2 second-up and 4:2-1 on the track, EW at $14.

Rise At Dawn, Far Too Easy

RAD resumed last week in a G1 behind Joliestar and will be better for that, good EW punt at $12.
FTE faded when resuming but finished well for second last time out at Doomben. $31 in the Straddy, Fav looks hard to beat though…

DD going well and capped that consistent form with a win at Morks 14 days ago under Toeroek and will be a huge threat at $5.50 in a very open betting race.
SLM started this prep with a couple of wins in easier grades, but still in this at $8.50.
