In the last at Geelong, Jet Jitsu (3 units ew) was second-up after a huge break, back in grade and sitting as second fav as he punched out to a superb win with a Hall of Fame performance at a juicy $11.00/$3.40, plus a $2K+ trifecta if you managed to sort out the other two…

He produced gritty win at Sandown 17 days ago at a sumptuous $15 for us. Nolen had him handy in midfield, a little closer to the pace than normal over the reduced 1800m run, and produced him at the 300m mark to lead, only to be headed immediately by Star Vega, but he rallied in some style to get up close to the line. Has to see out the extra 240m today, but has won at that distance before, and T Nugent a decent replacement up top for Nolen. $3.70 fav in this.

PR is honest, led for a long way under Celine last week, finishing a close fourth. J Kah jumps on today, up in grade, so will need to produce his best in a decent field but can make the frame, $7 on offer.
HOB has been thereabouts in all his runs this year, the worry is he generally gets back early and the sharper 1200m today might find him out, $12 on offer, but watch for him late…

Very consistent with a good finish, so was a surprise 7 days ago when he got back but did nothing on the run-in. Expecting him to get out over longer at some point but he has decent T&Ds, jockey is 6:4-1 and is $4 second fav in this, can win this.

Fortified has won three of his last five, loves the track and this distance and will be pounding home late. $15 looks value if he brings his A-game.
SAW really mixes his form, he won well three back then ran three ordinary runs, this may be too far for him, $151 on offer.

Definitely on the radar for next time and here he is, $4.60 second fav. Will be steaming home, hopefully from midfield instead of last…
