Such A Whit (5 units ew) demonstrated that odds-on fav can be beaten as he romped home at $6.40/$2.80 for a rare win!

Thirds for Night Fighter (5 units ew, $4.00 the place) who handled the heavy ground and is moving towards a win, and also Galenus (5 units ew) paying $2 the place.

Just the two as we kick off the week, one a fav the other the outsider, the multi could be interesting…

Trainer spruiked him up on debut in February and he ran a very tidy third, earning a next-time flag, but he dropped out after leading before heading to the paddock for four months… Resumes back to the 900m and with his early speed he looks ready to break maidens as the $2.80 fav today.

Good thing beaten last August, flying home for second when caught in traffic, and not far off next two before heading to the paddock. Three runs this time in have been at bit ordinary, and as he’s generally a slow starter to push out to 1175m from the 900m should suit. He’s 7:2-1 on the track and could run a place even as the $41 outsider.
