Couple of abandoned meetings left us with seven tips, and we hit four placings from them…
Big one was Fantasy Eagle (2 units ew) paying a whopping $7.00…
Cornelian Bay (5 units ew, $1.80), Tikemyson ($1.10) and Idyllic ($1.40) filled out the others…
It’s a one-hit wonder day today, and he just might be capable of anchoring us in the last leg of the Werribee qadi!

He bolted in on debut in August 21, and his career has been very much interrupted with time in the paddock, and he’s only had the eight runs to date, and resumes today after another 221 day spell. Three very promising runs last prep saw him run an eye-catching second, then win a trial, then dominate on the heavy at Echuca before hopping up to the BM64 and a close fourth at Moe before heading for a break. Ran a close second in a trial there 10 days ago, reckon he’s ready to roll in this, especially back to the BM58 and back to the 1000m. If he jumps well, he’ll be hard to catch, $4.60 on offer, get on early…
