60% strike rate for Sunday…
A winner, a second, two thirds and two fourths from our ten tips yesterday, giving us a 60% strike rate…
Miss Jennifer (8 unit win) has been competing in Saturday metro races and produced a superb finish to get up close to home under Nick Heywood at $2.15.
Point Nepean got going late to run a distant second, but it was a disappointing run as we expected him to win this.
Thirds for Boy ($1.30) and Ghost Doctor ($2.80), who rattled home late and earned a next-time sticker, with Red Hawk and Sapphires Son running fourth.
More disappointing was Five Bells, we thought she was a genuine chance but she didn’t settle well and the jockey got her tied up on the fence, and she came home well when it was too late. A bit green but watching her next time out and looking for a better ride…
Just the three today, one we’re very keen on, and two rougher chances…
