An eye-catching second…
Two seconds and a fourth from our Sunday book…
We spruiked up Knife’s Edge (5 units ew) as the day’s sleeper, and he nearly delivered for us at big odds, being a bit too far back in the run and screaming home for second beaten a neck at $4.10 the place. Deffo next time for him…
Impulsar was way too casual over the 2 miles, and let the winner get away, finishing on for second… there’s more wins to come for him though.
Pepper’s Ghost ran fourth for us.

A first two back at $8 for us was followed with a rise to this grade and a gritty second at $12. The AWT stats jump out at you and the rise to 2200m shouldn’t be an issue to this fast-finisher. He’ll be descending late, good EW bet at $6.

Resumes a touch in grade from his last run 11 months ago, and has place 2 from 4 first-up. Mixes his running style a bit, and may need this, so EW at $9.50 the call.
