And the racing gods smiled down upon us yesterday, as if to make up for Saturday’s disappointment…
Once again, blackbooking skills were to the fore as we tipped Girl (3 units ew) to be prominent back from Metro class, and the addition of Jye McNeil up top got here home with a superb finish to get up by a nose at $6.00/$2.50.
And our patience in waiting for I Am Mighty to get a start after a couple of recent scratchings was rewarded in a blanket-finish win at $3.10/$1.60. If you got on early, you could have gone 5 ew, nut with the money coming, it was 10 win for us!
