We had lofty expectations of yesterday’s one-hit wonder in Telegraph, especially back on his home track, but he ran like next door’s dog, and while he finished off late, he still trailed in tenth…

With the weather starting to play up in Aussie the two meeting at Newcastle and Kilcoy are already abandoned, leaving Ballarat as the sole meeting in play today, where we have a $51 shot.

Most punter would now be aware of the new law brought in this week in regard to overseas punting, and from the reaction we’ve seen, it’s not too popular.

Bet365 in particular is a big loss to the NZ punting fraternity, they offered better odds plus their very handy guaranteed drift protection odds. Now I can’t even access the site, or the Aussie TAB, even to check information out.
