Pride of place to Namazu (5 units ew), we said he’d be hard to catch if he got away well, and that was the case as he made every post a winning post, and they just couldn’t get near him as he cleared out and won easing down, surviving the betting drift out to $15.80/$4.40, a great return on investment!!
Then later on, Matriarch Rose (10 unit win), back from metro racing, won with a leg in the air at $1.90 as expected.
Some more nice place money for Seiryu (4 units ew) paying $4.20, while Missoni battled into second at $1.50, and Amberecho running third after trying to lead all the way.

Noted well-supported on debut and flashed home for fourth in October at Taree and has run close in four subsequent runs without winning. Fitter for the resuming run 14 days ago at Armidale, and ready to win as $3.30 second fav.

On the same day and track, KH steamed home for third, earning the next-time tag, so the rise to 1400m looks suitable today, and is almost identical to EE today.
