For the second day in a row we bang home SIX winners, this time from just 14 blackbookers, plus a couple of fourths, that’s an astonishing 43% win strike rate, 57% overall!
Top of the tree was Telegraph, back from being outclassed in his previous race, fav jockey Grant Buckley back onboard, and he powered home at a mouthwatering $18 for a well-deserved Hall of Fame entry!
Cream Tart started the day off well for us, cruising up to win as she liked at $2.50.
The over at Coonabarabran, we pooped in two in a row with Night Fighter ($4.30) ans Who Ever Thought ($2.10) obliging there, then it was back over to Port Macquarie for Edge of Midnight ($3.10), with Think Pink Daze producing a quite stunning finish under Pikey to get up on the line paying $1.80.

Talisker needed the resuming run but has nice second-up stats (3:1-2-0) and the other stats are tidy too. Gets Bruno up top, rates a chance at $6.50 in an open betting field.
DD is resuming from a 4 month break, has won first-up and this is his distance, but form was patchy last prep, will benefit from the run, $12.

Another wide open event, with the favs around the $6 mark. Trobriand hasn’t been far off in two runs but is 3:2-1-0 third-up and does like this track, winning 2 from 3. Opie has a great record onboard, and he can bounce back to form in this at a generous $9.50/
Aquilifer finished last prep in March down the track in the LR Lightning, but previous form was excellent, with two wins and two thirds in four runs. Has won first-up, so can’t discount him at $18.

The firmer surface at Wagga a month ago did the trick as he finished well from the back for second, suggesting the push up to the mile and still on a good track would suit him at Goulburn, and he did finish on late for a close fifth. Chance based on that at $4.80 if it’s not too soft…
