Just the one winner yesterday, with Cornelian Bay getting up at $3.70.
A gaggle of placings though, Interllectus ($1.80), The First Link ($2.00), Cool Encounter ($2.05), Zeefa Zed ($2.50), Lord Spencer ($1.90) with Kattegat running fourth.

Prominent in his 1300m debut when spruiked up and well-supported and held them off late for a nice win at Taree in November. Dropped back to the 1200m two weeks later, which looked to suit, but he faded late for seventh and headed off to the paddock. Has trialled up twice, including a win, and resumes today after 161 days. Showed enough in that debut to suggest he’ll be hard to run down from the ace draw in this as $4.00 fav in an open betting race…

Noted winning in July with a dominant victory at Corowa from the front, if a little green, then jumping hugely in grade, running last in a Highway at Randwick before heading to the paddock, obviously with an issue. Resumed after 7 months in March after winning a trial and led as she usually does, but faded late, needing the run but only 1.5 lengths away for fourth. Winning jockey goes back on, and if she manages to negotiate the carpark draw, will be hard to catch in this 900m dash. $1.90 fav.

She’s generally thereabouts and performs best on firmer going, which she gets today. Up in grade and interestingly up to the 2000m for only the second time, but she did win there on the first occasion. D Bates back onboard, and he’s won there previously. Chance at $11.
