No trick or treat…

Pretty much a Hallowe’en horror show yesterday, our three picks not showing out at all…

So, we hit Cup month, just six days to go to Melbourne Cup day (and my birthday!) let’s have a look at what we have at the midweeks today, Te Aroha already called off yesterday.

Six meetings in Aussie, but only three from the book, two of them at Bendigo on their Cup day, where we’ll be using them to have a crack at the late qadi…

Nice win two back at Sandown, sneaking up the rails to post an $11 win for us before jumping up to this grade at Caulfield two weeks ago. Mickey Dee sticks, hoping he’ll have her closer in the run today, watch for them late, $11 shot.

Bendigo, 8

Nice second for us two back at SP $17. Stays at the BM70 but gets out to 1300m for the first time, which should suit his race pattern. Gets the Yendall factor today, he’s 4:1-1 onboard, and he has the same stats at this track. Another to watch for late and nice value at $26…

Constant battler who goes round at big odds again. One win from 29, but 10 placings, though not many of those in recent runs. $31 outsider here, hard to make a case, interest bet…
