Having said that, Great Point showed massive acceleration to score here in December but failed to fire when seemingly suited up to the mile at Randwick in a tougher Highway race. Returned here 18 days ago, flew home to seemingly to win only to get nicked on the line. Third go at the mile, watch for her late, $5.50.

On the quick back up from 8 days ago when he was noted at Taree, well-supported in betting, blocked twice in the straight and flew home fro second, earning a next-time tag.

Canny Hell

Wagga R7 – 7:10pm

Early career form was impressive before heading to the paddock for a 273 day spell. Resumed 16 days ago after two nice trials for a win and a second, never got into the race however but would have got a good deal of benefit from the run. Drops in grade here, jockey is 8:4-2 up top, he’s the sleeper at $9.50 in this.
