A rustic but not rusty Hall of Famer…
Well, that was one out of the blue!!
Rustic Steel had been so out of form that we barely rated him a chance, though he was a big class dropper in yesterday’s race, but he sat just off the speed and produced a super finish to win at $16.50/$5/50, adding to the more than 200 Hall of Famers we have now!
Placegetters elsewhere included Recommendation and Philosopher )third and fourth in their race) with He’ll Rip also running fourth…
It’s a one-hit wonder TGIF today, a horse resuming for a long break but one we’ll need to keep safe!!

Noted with two searing wins in August last year before heading to the paddock for four month. Resumed racing up in grade and not too far off but without threatening before another stint away. Resumes today after 218 days back in grade and trialled up a month back. May need this one but keep him very safe, early market money for him at $6…
