Was always gonna be tough to better the previous day’s tips, and we managed a third and a fourth from our Thursday punting…

Two wins from his last three, both here, the last at this distance, which suited better than the 2200m previously, and he came with a well-timed run to win. Jockey knows him well, up on grade a touch, but still rates a decent EW shot in this at $8.50.

We’ve been monitoring this former Kiwi mare’s progress, and she earned a next-time tag after a slashing run for third at Sale nine days ago paying $9.50 the place, and suggesting the push up in distance will suit nicely. No probs with the heavy ground (4:1-1-0), very much in this at $8.50

A long last at Murtoa two weeks ago, and really needs to find his good from last year to be competitive. Really mixing his distances, good record on heavy, back in grade, but needs improvement to feature at $16…

We rated a chance on the win this T&D and grade three back. Thought he’d go well down in grade next, but he only plugged on the heavy ground. Then ran like next door’s dog ten days later, and while he finished off late, he still trailed in seventh. Back in grade, last time with A Bullock up top and we rated him chance and he ran a close fifth. Decent stats, still well in this at $10.
