Fortified fortifies the bankroll!!
A couple of late scratchings reduced us down to seven yesterday, with another winner, but from a slightly unexpected source, though we did recommend a 4 unit ew investment.
Fortified, after being out of the frame for some time, has now notched up two wins in a row, this one as a Hall of Famer paying $10/$2.30.
Zeefa Zed (4 units ew) ran another improver’s race for third paying $3.20 the place, that’s three placings in a row this prep, keep him on the heavy and there’s a win coming soon…

Strong on-pacer who went in the book Jan last year when she put them to the sword here before being put out for over a year. Came back in Feb this year and immediately won two before two close finishes up in grade and a run down the track in a Highway. Back in the BM58 13days ago here and he led them a merry dance, winning as well-supported fav by 5.4 lengths. JPH is 2:2 up top, his T&D’s are outstanding, and though up significantly in grade looks the one to beat as $1.85 fav.

Baraqiel was spruiked and backed on debut at Sale a month ago, and he delivered in great style, stretching out to an easy 4 length win under Benny Allen. Up to a CL1 race and out to 1200m 15 days ago at Pak, jockey stuck, and he won as he liked odds-on. BA sticks again, moving through the grades nicely, more to come from this lad for sure, $1.75 fav.

BT was a good thing beaten last August, flying home when caught in traffic, not far off next two before heading to the paddock. Resumed after 157 days at Wagga late March with good first-up form, but clearly needed the run as he faded late. Fav jockey stuck a month ago but he couldn’t get going, finishing a distant last. Better not miss the jump today over the 900m dash, maybe a place as $19 shot…
