Puketiro belied her poor second-up stats 36 days ago here with a super win, C Grylls retains the ride, and though up in grade she drops 3.5 kgs and sports super stats for this T&D, big chance to push on at $5.00 here.
Trobriand is at the same odds and he resumed here 28 days ago with a decent run for third and must be respected.
Not Ideal is ex-HK but has been out of sorts for some time, one for the exotics at $34….

His front-running style has seen him win his last two on some style and though he’s stepping up on grade here, he looks like he’ll cope with that. He’s the form horse in this, just fav at $3.20, and though he’d prefer a bit of give in the ground we’ve gotta stick with him here…

Generally runs near the pace but has come unstuck in her last two after two good seconds. Back in grade and distance a touch, $9.50 on offer but she’ll need to lift…

Big improvement 9 days ago at the Lakeside to run third at big odds and heads to Tazzy for this G3. Gets top jock D Pires, $26, and while this is a big jump, she’s a roughie’s chance in this.

Oak Hill, Marble Nine, Unflinching
Moonee Valley R4
Oak Hill resumed from a 195 day spell 14 days ago, with some compelling stats. Bit concerned about his get-back pattern over the 955m at the Valley, and he did that again, but he flew home to win with something in hand. Same T&D today, D Lane sticks, and so do we as $3 fav.
Marble Nine resumes after a three month spell after he finished his last prep with a couple of ordinary runs. He’s 2:2 first-up and can feature, $7.00 shot.
Unflinching also resumes and his stats are through the roof too, again, he can feature, $8.50 shot.
